Our Providers Share the Benefits of Our Monthly Home Visits
“I enjoy Barb’s visits very much, and so do the children. She always has something fun for them, and I think they can feel her fondness for them. They are always happy to have seen her.
It is nice to be able to ask questions about paperwork, behaviours, and just to unload about some things that have nothing to do with child care. She is knowledgeable and compassionate. Just sharing a laugh or a concern with an adult is a big plus for me.
I would say the most important and valuable aspect of the home visits is the support.” ~ Tracy
“Even though we can call the office any time, it is nice to be able to have in-person discussions with my Home Visitor, Barb, and together socialize with the children and play a game. I appreciate the support. Thanks.” ~ Elaine
“It’s nice to see another adult during the day haha.
But in all seriousness, I love that they always come with neat things for the kids to do. Give ideas for crafts, etc. They’re there to offer ideas /suggestions to any situations happening with the kids. I love that it’s a second eyeball to double check that we’re doing things as we should be to keep the kids safe.” ~ Amy
“I love the supplies and resources she brings each month.
Barb is great to lend support when needed. She’s very easy to get along with.” ~ Katie
“I find it gives me a chance to ask child-related questions for suggestions and advice which is very helpful.” ~ Shannon
“I enjoy having Barb come out and touch base with me about what’s going on with my daycare crew. It’s great to talk to someone about the little things that come up. I also enjoy getting resource materials.” ~ Daniele
