Provider Name: Amie
Location: Brighton, ON
I worked in a Nursery school prior to my second child being born. I have worked in daycare, Nursery school and with special needs children and adults. I am located a few minutes north of the 401 in Brighton, and am in the school district for Spring Valley Public School. Due to my previous work experience, I do fun activities with the children, like name tracing, matching worksheets, artwork related to our weekly themes, as well as circle time, calendar, songs and stories (for school readiness). There is also a full playroom, where the children use their imagination and play together. We like being outside daily and go on walks to visit the horses down our street. We also spend time playing in our front yard with many different items. Currently we are making a garden, where we will plant seeds, water and weed, and once our crops are ready, we will pick to eat what we have grown. The fun never ends and with all our hard work, we pick one day a week set up a picnic and watch a movie together.
