Since 1984, when Wee Watch first opened its doors, it has proved to be an exceptional, trusted, licensed child care organization. More than 30 years later, we continue to teach and inspire each child in our care and deliver quality licensed care at affordable prices for the families that make up our communities.
Wee Watch believes in helping children grow to be the best that they can, by providing them with:
- A Feeling of Belonging: Wee Watch homes allow every child to have a sense of belonging when he or she is connected to others and contributes to their world.
- A Feeling of Well-Being: Wee Watch homes allow every child to develop a sense of self, health and well-being.
- A feeling of Engagement: Wee Watch homes allow every child to become an active and engaged learner who explores the world with body, mind and senses.
- A Feeling of Expression: Wee Watch homes allow every child to become a capable communicator who expresses himself or herself in many ways.
Wee Watch is the largest home day care system in Canada with a reputation for providing high quality service to our Providers, Parents and above all, our Wee Watch children.
We guarantee each one of our Providers and their families have undergone our extensive screening process before joining our team. Our screening process includes in-home interviews, personal and business reference checks, criminal record checks, Family and Children services check, annual First Aid and CPR training as well as a home site safety check. We also offer and encourage our Providers to participate in ongoing training through workshops held by Wee Watch and other outside educators in our community.
Wee Watch offers full and part-time care for children six weeks to twelve years of age. We also offer evening, weekend and overnight care. We understand not every parent works 9-5, and feel that even though your work schedule is outside of the usual daycare hours, you should still have access to affordable, quality daycare. We have homes conveniently located in Kitchener.
Wee Watch parents take comfort in knowing that our government approved Registered Early Childhood Educator (R.E.C.E) perform unscheduled monthly visits to each home. Along with our monthly visits, we also perform site safety checks quarterly in each home. We provide a written report to parents after each visit. Each family has access to support from a team of experienced child care professionals. We work as a team to ensure that your child has everything they need to equip them to be successful in life. We also offer a backup system that parents can use when their Provider is unavailable due to illness or on holidays.
Subsidized child care is available. Rates are based on the hours of care that is needed per day and the age of the child. Contact us to find out more.

What Parents Are Saying About Wee Watch…
“I am very happy with my Provider Savannah. She is fun and happy and my son absolutely adores her. She takes him out to the museum, Funvilla, and they play outside when weather permits. Everything he does with her is teaching him fun learning. The amount of effort she puts into my son and how happy he is when I pick him up everyday is a direct reflection on her. I would recommend my Savannah to anyone needing care for their child. She awesome!” ~ Patricia M.
